Lecturer in Computer Science

DII is seeking a lecturer to teach Computer Science in its undergraduate degree programme.
About the role
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English, according to DII's curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new curriculum initiatives
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong knowledge of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Theory of Computation, Systems Programming, Computer Networks and Distributed Systems
- Prior university teaching experience is preferred
- Strong English language skills — Native English-Speaker Teacher (NEST) is preferred
