Some frequently asked questions (FAQs) for prospective applicants to the Dushanbe Innovation Institute (DII)
DII is a private higher educational institution dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity, and technological advancement. DII provides specialized programs and resources for students interested in cutting-edge fields.
DII is located at Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan.
DII is Tajikistan’s first higher education institution that conducts all its courses, programs and activities in English.
DII offers three pioneering departments, each offering a unique blend of core and cutting-edge elective courses designed to prepare you for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Those three programs are:
1. Mathematics and IT.
2. Physics and IT.
3. Chemistry and Biology.

Foreign Students:
1. Copies of transcripts/diplomas: The transcript of records from the last school you graduated or currently attending is required. This document should have an official signature and stamp from your school.
2. Statement of purpose/Letter of motivation: This statement should explain your reasons for applying to the chosen degree course and how it relates to your future goals. It is important to be honest and not inflate anything in this statement.
For Tajikistan citizens:
Through National Testing Center
Foreign Students:
1. Proof of English language proficiency: Proof of English language proficiency is required for English-taught programs. This can be IELTS, TOEFL, DUOLINGO, Cambridge, or other equivalent tests.
***Free English Proficiency Test is provided in Dushanbe Innovation Institute – student can take it.
2. Any Standardized test score: SAT, ACT, or DII`s own Math and Logic tests (you can take it online too)
For Tajikistan citizens:
Admission to DII is conducted through the National Testing Center by taking CEE (Centralized Entrance Exam – ИМД)
DII offers 30 scholarships based on merit, financial need, and other criteria. Applicants can apply for scholarships during the admissions process.
DII boasts state-of-the-art laboratories, collaborative workspaces, student-oriented practical clubs, techno-park and innovation center, and a well-stocked library. Moreover, there is a dining hall and a refreshment room with a small snacks and drinks shop. DII also provides a comfortable conference hall suitable for hosting different types of events.
